Erica The material is probably similar to a wet suit��it even has the same distinct smell. When fitting it on, I had to use quite a bit of force and was genuinely worried it might tear during installation. the pieces come with numbered stickers, so I just followed those to attach them. I believe the order went from the hood side toward the mount side, starting with number 1 through 8. Overall, I��m really satisfied with the purchase��glad I bought it!
