Install Front Lens Hood Cover (Part ①)

Step 1: Attach cover to lens hood

Take the front lens hood cover (Part ①) and slide it over the lens hood. Make sure it fits snugly and completely covers the hood.

Adjust the cover so the opening aligns with the lens hood lock release button. The cover should not obstruct the hood's functionality.

Tip: Slightly stretch the cover before sliding it on for easier installation.

Install Rear Barrel Cover (Part ②)

Step 2: Slide cover from rear to front

Remove the lens foot/mount if attached. Take the rear barrel cover (Part ②) and slide it from the rear (mount end) toward the front of the lens.

Continue sliding until the cover reaches the front barrel. Ensure it's evenly distributed with no twists.

Important: Clear the lens mount of any fabric before reattaching the foot or mounting to camera.

Position Zoom Ring Cover (Part ③)

Step 3: Align cover with zoom scale

Slide the zoom ring cover (Part ③) from the rear forward until it covers the zoom ring completely.

Critical: Align the cutout on the cover with the lens's focal length scale markings. This lets you read the focal length while covered.

Secure the hook-and-loop fastener (Velcro) for a tight, secure fit.

Align Focus Hold Button Cover (Part ④)

Step 4: Align with focus hold button

Position the focus hold button cover (Part ④) so the opening aligns perfectly with your lens's custom focus hold button.

Ensure the button is completely accessible and can be pressed without obstruction.

Note: Some lenses have multiple function buttons. Make sure all are accessible through openings.

Install Manual Focus Ring Cover (Part ⑤)

Step 5: Wrap around focus ring

Wrap the manual focus ring cover (Part ⑤) around the lens's manual focus ring. Center it on the focus ring.

Secure the hook-and-loop fastener. The cover should be snug but not impede focus ring rotation.

Test the focus ring rotation to ensure smooth operation with the cover installed.

Align Switch Panel Cover (Part ⑦)

Step 6: Align with switch panel

Position the switch panel cover (Part ⑦) so openings align with the lens's switch panel (AF/MF, stabilizer, etc.).

Ensure all switches are completely accessible and can be toggled without fabric interference.

Checkpoint: Test each switch to confirm proper operation with cover installed.

Install Tripod Collar Cover (Part ⑥)

Step 7: Wrap around tripod collar

Wrap the tripod collar cover (Part ⑥) around the lens's tripod collar. Center it without interfering with collar rotation.

Secure the fastener. The cover should allow full rotation of the tripod collar if applicable.

Final Alignment & Adjustment

Step 8: Final check and adjustments

Ensure lens strap mounts and control knobs extend through the specially designed openings.

Check all parts are properly positioned and all fasteners are securely closed. Make final adjustments for optimal fit.

Your camouflage armor installation is complete. The cover should be snug but not tight, allowing full access to all controls.

Final Check: Verify all lens functions (zoom, focus, switches, buttons) operate properly with camouflage armor installed.
